    Support Group Earns '09-'10 Best Program of the Year Award

    Better Breathers Support Group, formed to help those dealing with breathing problems like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), was given the 2009-2010 best program of the year award by the Central Florida Chapter of the American Lung Association. It was selected for this award from the 16 active Better Breathers Clubs across Central Florida.

For the first time ever and to help celebrate the new wing of the Dr. P. Philips Baby Place at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, Mom’s are invited to bring their children and strollers to a one of a kind walk!

Mead Garden - Winter Park, Florida

 

Here’s how you and your little one can participate:

 - Registration is required and is available only on race day at Mead Garden

- Free! Each mom receives a pedometer!

- Start time is 7:30 a.m. - Stroller Walkers line up behind 5k runners/walkers (watch for signage and directions from volunteers)

- Stroller Walk is approximately ½ mile

*Baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, skateboards, and animals are not allowed in the 3.1 mile race.
